I've spoken from stages, behind microphones, in City Council chambers, at community meetings, in classrooms, and across conference rooms. Sometimes I'm teaching. Sometimes I'm advocating. Sometimes I'm interviewing or being interviewed. Sometimes I'm trying to get a room full of people to participate.
dIFFERENT ROOMS REQUIRE DIFFERENT CONVERSATIONS.
The message matters. So does knowing who you're talking to.
Teaching & Presenting
Lions District 4-C5 cabinet presentations and breakout sessions, including 30-minute Lions Clubs International Foundation educational presentations.
Traveled throughout the district presenting to Lions Clubs and translating a large international foundation, its mission, programs, and impact, into information local members could understand and use.
Guided workshops on community service organization and event planning with local middle school students.
Social & Digital Communication
Social media management, content planning and strategy, campaign management and development, audience engagement, branding, website content and digital advertising across restaurant, nonprofit, community, and business environments.
Hands-on experience with Instagram, Facebook, Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, GoDaddy & Wix website design and content management, Canva, CapCut, PosterMyWall, Snapchat, Meet, Zoom, Teams, email marketing, PowerPoint, Microsoft 365, social media analytics/insights, and generative AI for research, ideation, & content development.
Media & Public Relations
Television, print, and radio interviews representing restaurants, Lions Clubs, community initiatives, and a City Council campaign.
Experience speaking with reporters, answering questions in real time and representing organizations, initiatives, and ideas publicly.
Public Speaking & Speechwriting
Member of Toastmasters International since 2022 with ongoing practice with storytelling, impromptu speaking, message development, audience adaptation and time-conscious delivery.
Experienced writing and delivering educational, informative, persuasive, humorous, inspirational, and ceremonial speeches.
